Leisurelands' Events Centre is one of Galway's finest venues for events. The venue is suitable for various events including concerts, exhibitions, conferences or sporting events.
With an area of 633 metres squared (excluding large stage area & balcony), and the capacity to hold 1,010 for events our Centre is the ideal location for any show. See "In the Spotlight" on our home page for details of upcoming events.

20 Years on from that famous night in Istanbul. Come and hear the real stories of what happened at half time and beyond. Liverpool FC Legend Steven Gerrard Coming to Galway – Get ready, Reds! Former Liverpool FC Captain Steven Gerrard is set to arrive in Galway on Thurday, March 5th, 2026, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club's historic Champions League triumph in Istanbul. On May 25th, 2005, Gerrard led Liverpool FC to an unforgettable comeback victory against AC Milan, overcoming a 3-0 halftime deficit to win the Champions League title in a penalty shootout. This iconic moment in football history will be relived and celebrated during Gerrard's visit. During his visit, Gerrard will participate in a special event, where fans will have the opportunity to meet Steven, hear his insights, and relive some of the most memorable moments from his illustrious career with Liverpool FC.Steven said "I'm thrilled to be coming to Galway to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our incredible Champions League win. It's a moment that will forever be etched in my memory, and I'm looking forward to sharing some of my favorite stories and memories with the fans along with all things Liverpool FC and this season’s momentous 20th League Title.

Following their sold-out tour in 2025, I’m Grand Mam return to the live arena in 2026 with their brand-new show Happy Campers. The nationwide tour begins in Killarney with dates in Belfast, Cork, Galway and Dublin. I’m Grand Mam is the wildly popular Irish comedy duo made up of best friends Kevin Twomey and PJ Kirby. The Leisureland Theatre is one of Galway’s finest venues suitable for a variety of events including concerts, exhibitions, conferences or sporting events. With the capacity to hold 1,010 people, the Leisureland Theatre is the ideal location for any show or event. Not only the home to the famous Trad on The Prom, Leisureland has been host to artists such as Christy Moore, Daniel O Donnell, Nelly to Comedians such as The 2 Johnnies, Mario Rosenstock and John Bishop to events such as The Wedding Expo, Darkness into Light and many more.
Leisureland offers a range of spacious rooms which can be rented for various events such as meetings, classes etc.
